Did you Know...

You need a building permit to build a shed, a deck, a pool or hot tub, finishing off the basement, re-roofing your home? Just to name a few.

These are just a few of the items that require a building permit. Call us to see if the project that you are planning requires a building permit. Remember, that our purpose here is to ensure your safety and that of the public. Our inspection service is to ensure that it is constructed properly and ensures the safety to you and your family and to those who visit.

We are also the department that has the zoning and flood maps for your questions and review.

PLEASE NOTE:  Building permits may take up to THIRTY days to be processed depending on current volume.

To schedule a building inspection, please call 508-866-3450.  Inspections are typically conducted after 12:30pm.

Wiring and Plumbing inspections are scheduled with the inspector directly at the number provided to you when you applied for your permit.
