The Assessor's Office primary responsibility is to determine the full & fair cash value of all Real Estate and Personal Property in the Town. The office strives to get the most accurate, precise valuations for properties so that residents pay their fair share. Real estate and personal property account for the largest portion of the Town's revenue. Our office handles all abatements and exemptions as well as all chapter 61, 61A and 61B applications submitted annually for all forestry, agricultural & horticultural and recreation land in Town.
