Fiscal Year 2017 3rd Quarter Real Estate & Personal Property taxes are due Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
The Town of Carver Treasurer/Tax Collector, Paula Nute, announces the 3rd quarter Fiscal Year 2017 ACTUAL REAL ESTATE and PERSONAL PROPERTY tax bills are due and payable by February 1, 2017 and that the 4th quarter tax bills were mailed on December 21, 2016 in the same envelope with the 3rd quarter tax bills. Payments must be received in the Tax Collector's office on or before this date. Postmark date is not acceptable as payment made if payments are not received in the Tax Collector's office by February 1, 2017.
If you are processing a payment online through your bank, you MUST include the bill number, year, and type in the Memo field (for example: Bill #25, 2017 real estate), so your payment will be properly applied. If you are paying multiple bills, you must include each bill number. If this information is not included, your check may be returned to you and interest/charges may accrue due to a late payment.
All Fiscal Year 2017, Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills, remaining unpaid after their respective due dates are subject to 14% per annum interest from the due date.
The Tax Collector's office will be open to receive payments of taxes Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
